North Valley Hospital has a staff of 102 physicians and state-of-the-art technology. With a staff of 242 employees, North Valley Hospital is the largest employer in Whitefish. A Planetree affiliate since 2002, North Valley Hospital provides medical care in a home-like environment with a focus on patient-centered care. NVH offers community education, obstetrics clinics, laboratory, radiology, CT, MRI, same day and inpatient surgery, medical/surgical/pediatric department, and a special care unit.
North Valley Hospital opened its new facility in March 2007 near the intersection of U.S. Highway 93 and Montana 40 on the south edge of Whitefish.
